About the Journal
Al-Majaalis (read: Al-Majalis) is a scholarly journal published by Sekolah Tinggi Dirasat Islamiyah (STDI) Imam Syafi’i Jember. Published biannually in May and November, the journal focuses on four main disciplines: Fiqh, Hadith, Aqidah, and Qur’anic Studies. Al-Majaalis has been nationally reaccredited at SINTA 2 level based on the Decree of the Director General of Research and Development Number 2/C/C3/KPT/2026 dated January 2, 2026, reflecting its quality and consistency in scholarly publishing.
Al-Majaalis publishes articles from academics, researchers, and practitioners. The editorial board welcomes original and unpublished manuscripts, including conceptual papers, library research, and field research within the scope of Islamic studies.
Current Issue
All praise is due to Allah, the Most Merciful, who has made possible the publication of Al-Majaalis: Jurnal Dirasat Islamiyah, Volume 13, Issue 1, in November 2025. Al-Majaalis, in shaa Allah, is published biannually by the editorial team—in the months of November and May.
In this edition, the editorial board presents 8 scholarly articles focused on the core Islamic disciplines: Fiqh, Hadith, Aqeedah, and Qur’anic Studies. On behalf of the Al-Majaalis editorial team, we extend our sincere gratitude to all parties who have contributed to the successful publication of this journal.
