Author Guidelines

  1. General Provisions

Manuscripts submitted must be original community service articles, have not been previously published, and are not under review by other journals. Articles must be relevant to the journal’s focus on human development and community empowerment and demonstrate clear and measurable contributions to community partners.

Manuscripts must be written in proper academic English and must strictly adhere to the journal template and house style. Submissions that fail to meet these requirements may be returned to the authors without undergoing the peer review process.review.

2. Title and Author Information

The article title must consist of no more than 15 words, be informative, specific, and accurately reflect the substance of the community service activity. The title must not include implementation models, methods, or the location/object of the activity. The title is written in EB Garamond, 12 pt, bold, left-aligned.

Author information includes full names without academic titles, institutional affiliations, and email addresses. One author must be designated as the corresponding author.

3. Abstract and Keywords

The abstract must be written in both Indonesian and English, each in a single paragraph, with a length of 150–200 words. It should clearly present the background of the problem, objectives of the community service, methods, main results, and conclusions. The abstract must not contain citations, references, or uncommon abbreviations.

Keywords consist of 3–6 terms, separated by semicolons (;), written in italic, and represent the core concepts of the article.

4. Article Structure

Introduction

The introduction describes the conditions and problems of the community partners, the urgency of the community service activity, objectives, and relevant literature review. This section is written in integrated analytical paragraphs and comprises 15–20% of the total manuscript length.

Method

The method section explains the community service approach, stages of implementation, forms of partner participation, and solutions offered to address the identified problems. This section is written descriptively and analytically, comprising 5–10% of the total manuscript.

Results and Discussion

This section presents the results of the community service activities in a systematic manner, supported by relevant data. The discussion interprets the results in relation to the objectives and compares them with relevant theories or previous community service activities. This section constitutes 60–70% of the total article length. Tables, figures, or graphs may be included to strengthen the analysis.

Conclusion

The conclusion summarizes the key achievements of the community service activity, the attainment of objectives, and the implications for community partners as well as future community service programs. It is written in paragraph form and accounts for 5–10% of the total manuscript.

Acknowledgements (Optional)

Acknowledgements may be addressed to funding institutions or parties who contributed to the implementation of the community service activity.

5. References

The reference list must include a minimum of 10 sources, primarily from peer-reviewed journals published within the last 10 years. References must follow APA Style, 7th Edition, and be managed using reference management software such as Mendeley or Zotero. Laws and government regulations are not counted as primary references.

6. Technical Writing Requirements
