HDC: Journal of Human Development and Community Empowerment is a peer-reviewed scientific journal on community service published by Pusat Penelitian Pengabdian Masyarakat dan Dakwah (P3M dan Dakwah), Sekolah Tinggi Dirasat Islamiyyah Imam Syafi’i. The journal functions as an academic platform for disseminating scholarly works that emphasize community empowerment and human development grounded in Islamic values, religious education, and da‘wah-oriented social transformation, with the ultimate goal of enhancing the well-being of the ummah.

The journal is published three times a year, in February, June, and October, and accepts manuscripts derived from community service activities, both conceptual and applicative in nature. Special attention is given to community engagement initiatives that integrate Islamic values, religious education, da‘wah, and social innovation within sustainable community development frameworks.

HDC: Journal of Human Development and Community Empowerment aims to disseminate best practices and scholarly reflections on community service that contribute to improving the quality of human resources, strengthening socio-religious institutions, and fostering inclusive and sustainable community welfare.

All manuscripts submitted to this journal must comply with the author guidelines, focus and scope, and journal template. Submissions that fail to meet these requirements will be declined at the initial screening stage. Each manuscript is first evaluated by the Editor-in-Chief to assess its suitability for peer review and subsequently reviewed through a double-blind peer review process to ensure academic rigor, integrity, and objectivity.
