General Information

All manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.

Submissions must be related to Hadith studies, particularly within the field of riwāyah as stated in the journal’s scope.
-
Manuscripts must be written entirely in academic Indonesian, Arabic, or English.
-
Arabic terms must be italicized and transliterated according to the official transliteration guidelines as provided in the transliteration guide (for manuscripts in Indonesian or English).

Submissions must be made through the Online Journal System (OJS) in Microsoft Word format (.doc/.docx).
- Authors must include a self-checked Turnitin similarity report with a maximum similarity index of 20% at the time of manuscript submission.
Manuscript Format

Word count: 6,000–8,000 words (excluding references and appendices).

Paper size: A4 with 2.5 cm margins.

Main text: Times New Arabic, 12 pt, 1.5 spacing

Arabic text (quotations): Sakkal Majalla, 14 pt

Qur’anic text: KFGQPC HAFS Uthmanic Script, 14 pt

Footnotes: Times New Arabic, 12 pt, single spacing

Manuscript Structure
-
Title
Written in English, a maximum of 16 words, and must accurately reflect the content of the article. -
Author Information
Include the full name, institutional affiliation, and email address of each author. -
Abstract
Must be written in English, 150–250 words in length.
Should include: research objectives, methodology, main findings, and recommendations. -
Keywords
3–5 English keywords that reflect the core theme of the article. -
Introduction
Contains background information, objectives, relevant literature review (preferably within the last 10 years), research gap, and article structure. -
Methodology
Describes the type and design of the research, procedures, data collection and analysis methods, instruments, and validity tests if applicable. -
Results and Discussion
Presents and interprets the main findings, possibly accompanied by tables/figures, and compares them with previous studies or theoretical frameworks. -
Conclusion
Summarizes the research findings and answers the research question(s); may include implications or suggestions for future research. -
Acknowledgements (Optional)
For acknowledging funding or institutional support, if any. -

Follow the 9th edition of the Turabian (Full Note) citation style.

Use sources from peer-reviewed academic journals and scholarly or classical books.

Use reference management tools such as Mendeley or Zotero.

The bibliography must be ordered alphabetically by the authors’ last names.

Citation and Footnote Style

Citations must use footnotes, not in-text citations.
-
Use Turabian 9th edition – Full Note style, without the use of ibid.
-
Fonts: Times New Arabic, 10 pt; or Sakkal Majalla, 12 pt for Arabic quotations.
Tables and Figures

Tables and figures must be numbered sequentially and placed close to their first mention in the text.

Titles should be placed above the table/figure; source notes should be placed below.

Use high-resolution images in JPG or PNG format.
-
Charts from Excel or PowerPoint must be inserted as editable objects.
Arabic Terms and Transliteration
-
Arabic terms or phrases must be italicized in the main text.
-
Transliteration must follow the official Indonesian transliteration guidelines (SKB 158/1987) or as provided in the journal's transliteration guide.

Direct Arabic quotations must be accompanied by a translation, either in the main text or in a footnote (if the article is written in Indonesian or English).
Submission Procedure

Manuscripts must be submitted via the OJS submission portal.
-
Manuscripts that do not comply with the guidelines may be returned without review.
-
Authors are fully responsible for language clarity, citation accuracy, and technical formatting prior to submission.
