(نَضَّرَ اللهُ امرَأً سَمِعَ مَقَالَتِي فَوَعَاهَا وَحَفِظَهَا وَبَلَّغَهَا)

Abstrak

This research explores the hadith “May Allah brighten the face of a person…” by analyzing its interpretations and identifying its benefits. The study aims to examine the efforts of the 2020 graduates of the Hadith Sciences Department at Imam Shafi’i College of Islamic Studies in Jember in disseminating authentic hadiths in light of the hadith: “May Allah brighten the face of a person who hears my statement, understands it, memorizes it, and conveys it,” and to evaluate its positive impacts. Employing a qualitative field research method, the study utilizes participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. Data analysis follows four stages: data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion, while data validity is ensured through credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The study concludes that the hadith is authentic, even mutawatir (mass-transmitted), and emphasizes the virtue of those who learn, preserve, and transmit the Prophet’s sayings. The graduates’ efforts include formal activities such as teaching hadith in classrooms and mentioning hadiths in non-hadith subjects, and informal activities like teaching classical hadi th books, quoting hadiths during public lectures, and writing posts related to hadith themes.
