About the Journal
HDC: Journal of Human Development and Community Empowerment is a scholarly journal published by the Pusat Penelitian Pengabdian Masyarakat dan Dakwah (P3M dan Dakwah) under Sekolah Tinggi Dirasat Islamiyyah Imam Syafi’i. The journal is published three times a year, in February, June, and October, and focuses on community service and empowerment activities grounded in Islamic values, religious education, and da‘wah-based social development.
HDC publishes original and unpublished articles derived from conceptual studies and community-based service programs that contribute to human development, community empowerment, and the strengthening of Islamic social values.
Current Issue
We are pleased to present the inaugural issue of HDC: Journal of Human Development and Community Empowerment, Volume 1, Number 1, published on February 28, 2026. This journal is established to disseminate research-based and community-oriented service initiatives that promote sustainable human development.
This issue features contributions from several higher education institutions in Indonesia, including Sekolah Tinggi Dirasat Islamiyah Imam Syafi’i Jember; Jurusan Kimia, FMIPA, Universitas Jember; Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq State Islamic University of Jember; Universitas Malahayati Lampung; serta Universitas Merdeka Madiun. These contributions reflect collaborative and interdisciplinary engagement in advancing community empowerment.
We sincerely appreciate the authors, reviewers, and editorial team for their valuable contributions. We hope this journal will serve as a meaningful reference for the development of community-based scholarship.
