About the Journal

HDC: Journal of Human Development and Community Empowerment is an open-access scholarly journal published by the Center for Community Service and Da‘wah Pusat Penelitian Pengabdian Masyarakat dan Dakwah (P3M dan Dakwah) under the auspices of Sekolah Tinggi Dirasat Islamiyyah Imam Syafi’i. The journal serves as a platform for the dissemination of conceptual studies and community service practices that focus on human development, community empowerment, and the strengthening of Islamic social values grounded in da‘wah and religious education.

The journal is published three times a year, in February, June, and October and accepts original manuscripts that have not been previously published and are not under consideration elsewhere. All published articles are freely accessible without subscription fees, while authors’ copyright is respected in accordance with the journal’s policies.

To ensure academic quality and integrity, all submissions undergo a peer-review process and plagiarism screening. The journal upholds high standards of publication ethics and adheres to the guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

HDC supports digital archiving systems to ensure the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published content. Personal information of authors and reviewers is used solely for journal management purposes and will not be disclosed for any other use.
